エジソンキッズって？
小学校を退学になっても「この子は天才です！」と諦めなかったエジソンの母親のように、発達障害を才能と見る、全く新しい施設です
発達障害は脳の障害と言われ、病気と同じように、治療が必要だと言われています。なので、放課後等デイサービス施設も療育の名の下に、悪いモノだから治そうという施設が多いですが、エジソンキッズでは、発達障害を悪いモノとは思いません。
確かに凸凹が大きいことは確かです、コミュニケーションが苦手だったり、黙って座ってられなかったり、出来ないことも多いでしょう。
でも、その反面、こだわりが強い分、何かにこだわったら、とてつもない集中力を発揮する才能を持っています。
その、才能が発揮される分野を見出し、伸ばし、自信を持って社会に羽ばたいていく人間に育てていく。
それが、エジソンキッズの使命です。
